Bluebell Events is an internationally acclaimed boutique wedding and event planning company creating bespoke, personal, and enduring memories.

Charley Izabella King, originally from across the Atlantic in Buckinghamshire, England began her career as an actress, singer, and dancer aiming her sights on a grand stage. With hard work and dedication, she made those dreams come true and became a successful performer headlining in numerous shows including “Chicago,” (London’s West End and Film) “The Producers,” (Broadway and Film) and many more.

After fulfilling her lifetime goal at an early age, Charley used the same passion and drive she had for theater and began to focus on a career in wedding and event planning. She trained with the industry celebrated event producer and caterer Pauline Parry from Good Gracious Events. Pauline became a mentor to Charley inspiring her dedication to design and detail and opened up a whole new world to her, which she grabbed fiercely with both hands. Ready to embark on her own journey, Charley founded Bluebell Events in 2010.

Bluebell is a name that is very near and dear to her heart. It’s the ‘special’ nickname that her late father called her ever since she was a little girl. Charley chose to use the name Bluebell, to honor her father who was living with Alzheimers at the time, which was wonderfully fitting, since the Bluebell Flower represents “Everlasting love and Union.”

Charley has been honored with prestigious awards, a nomination for a Special Events Award, a growing A-list clientele, multiple television appearances, and weddings and parties featured in numerous blogs and magazines such as INSTYLE MAGAZINE, INSIDE WEDDINGS MAGAZINE , CALIFORNIA WEDDING DAY, BRIDES MAGAZINE, LGBT WED, DESTINATION I DO, YOUR WEDDING DAY, IN TOUCH MAGAZINE, STYLE ME PRETTY, CARATS AND CAKE, and BRIDE AND BLOOM to name a few.

Charley is a fearless leader, incredibly reliable and a quick problem solver with a bag of tricks that would make Mary Poppins smile. She approaches each event with the calculated eye of a director, the organization of a Producer, and the broad skill set of a stage manager.
